February 1, 2024 - The 25th Anniversary Celebration of  Shanghai RISTA Labour Protection Products Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of ZETA Group, was grandly held in Qidong. Xiang Yi, Deputy Director of the High-tech Zone Management Committee of Qidong City, Xu Hui, Secretary of the Party Committee of ZETA Group, Xu Xiaoqiang, Deputy General Manager of the Enterprise Management Department, Qiu Yaoming, General Manager of RISTA, and all 155 employees of RISTA attended the event.

Established in Shanghai in 1998, RISTA started as a small factory in Pudong and has grown into a national high-tech enterprise through continuous technological innovation. It has also been recognized as a specialized and new high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province, an enterprise engineering technology center in Jiangsu Province, and has been selected as one of the top 50 technology companies in Qidong. RISTA has achieved annual revenues surpassing hundreds of millions for several consecutive years, with steady growth in foreign trade income. Its products are exported to high-end markets in North America, Europe, Japan, and more, with partnerships with over 50 internationally renowned industry leaders. RISTA owns a modern factory area of 100 acres in Qidong, equipped with 10 multi-functional automated production lines and complete automatic weaving and sewing equipment. Its research and development of environmentally friendly multi-element new material composite coating technology has filled a gap in the world.

So far, RISTA has obtained 10 invention patents, more than 60 technical patents, and its R&D team has been honored with the "Shanghai Worker Pioneer" award in 2022 and the "National Worker Pioneer" award from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in 2023.

Xiang Yi, Deputy Director of the High-tech Zone Management Committee of Qidong City, congratulated RISTA on its 25th anniversary on behalf of the committee. He stated that RISTA is a star enterprise in Shanghai and a high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province. He hoped that RISTA would uphold the spirit of innovation and continue to deepen its roots in Qidong, achieving even greater success.

On April 25th, the 106th China International Labour Protection Products Exhibition commenced at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The exhibition brought together numerous renowned brands in the labor protection products industry, global distributors, agents, investors, and corporate buyers. As a company specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of environmentally friendly functional protective gloves for 26 years, RISTA from Shanghai unveiled a series of new products featuring patented technology at the labor protection exhibition. This attracted a multitude of both new and existing customers to visit and engage in discussions.

Before the booth, there was a continuous flow of domestic and foreign visitors from the United States, Japan, Europe, Southeast Asia, Russia, and various other regions, all showing significant interest in the diverse array of new products. RISTA's R&D and marketing personnel patiently provided detailed introductions of each product's features and advantages to every visitor, addressing their inquiries and happily establishing cooperation intentions. To further penetrate the Southeast Asian market, based on the solid industry-academia-research cooperation between RISTA and Shanghai Zhongqiao University, on the morning of June 7, 2024, RISTA’s Chairman Qiu Yaoming, General Manager Xu Xiaoqiang, along with Shanghai Zhongqiao University's Vice President Professor Huang Lixin, and Assistant Dean of the School of Economics and Management/Project Leader of the Zhongqiao-RISTA Industry-Academia-Research collaboration, Li Juan, visited Gole University in Thailand. They were received by Gole University’s Vice President Professor Qi Bin, Dean of the School of Humanities Professor Xie Mingxun, and Assistant to the President Luo Cheng.

Teacher Luo Cheng began by introducing the guests and played a promotional video of Gole University. Founded in 1952 by the renowned educator Dr. Gol Managrabhak, Gole University is a signatory to the Sino-Thai Higher Education Diploma Recognition Agreement. Based in Thailand, it extends its influence to China-ASEAN countries and has the authority to confer bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. With a focus on scientific research and cultivating applied high-level talents, Gole University has produced a large number of outstanding graduates for the China-ASEAN region since its establishment. Many current members of the Thai Cabinet, including several ministerial-level leaders, are alumni of the university.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice President Qi Bin delivered a speech introducing the overview of Gole University and the starting point for future cooperation. He particularly mentioned that 2025 would mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, expressing the hope that Zhongqiao, RISTA, and Gole University could deepen their collaboration to commemorate this significant milestone.

Vice President Huang Lixin of Zhongqiao University then delivered a speech, expressing gratitude for the warm reception by Gole University. He introduced the overview of Zhongqiao University, highlighting the development strategy of “international perspective, faculty enhancement, industry-education integration, and modern governance” as well as the vision of “becoming a leading and internationally renowned modern vocational and technical university in China.” Vice President Huang Lixin also discussed the potential entry points for trilateral industry-academia-research cooperation based on these strategies and visions.

Following that, Manager Xiaoqiang Xu from RISTA shared an overview of RISTA and their collaboration with universities. He mentioned that RISTA was founded in 1998, focusing on innovative hand protection product development and providing comprehensive hand protection solutions. They have unique patented glove designs and coating technologies. Currently, RISTA holds over 70 international and domestic patents, as well as core technologies in proprietary formulations and production processes.

Manager Xiaoqiang expressed his anticipation for industrialization through collaboration with universities. RISTA is currently expanding its global supply chain layout and developing a global marketing network. In areas such as global brand promotion, advertising, overseas base construction, and local marketing network establishment, there are many cooperation opportunities and spaces with Gole University.

Chairman Qi Yaoming further stated his hope that through this visit, the three parties have deepened their understanding and will strengthen cooperation in industry-academia-research, technology, and international market network marketing. The enterprise will support the university in cultivating high-quality comprehensive talents, while the university will assist the enterprise in talent reserves and sustainable development, jointly empowering the “Belt and Road” and the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road.”

Dean Xie Mingxun shared insights on the trilateral goals and cooperation model. He mentioned that Zhongqiao University, RISTA, and Gole University should combine their respective goals to commercialize scientific research results. Thailand, as a key transportation hub in Southeast Asia, possesses unique geographical advantages. From the perspective of the strengths and goals of the three parties, future cooperation holds great promise.

The inaugural Thailand Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition (CIOSH Thailand) was grandly held from June 5th to 7th at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The successful organization of this exhibition signifies the dawn of a new era for the personal protective equipment industry and workplace safety standards in the Southeast Asian region.
